Communications and marketing roles

Communications and marketing roles are usually externally oriented, i.e. connecting the organisation to the general public, although sometimes will be internally oriented in large organisations (i.e. internal staff communications). Communications employees implement communications strategies to support the objectives of an organisation and are responsible for the dissemination of an organisation’s messaging. Building a narrative is a large part of communications roles and they are a critically important part of an organisation’s success, including its ability to attract funding and build productive relationships with stakeholders. Vacancies do come up relatively frequently in a range of organisation types and sizes across different regions.
