The Role
Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will support the team and hiring managers with the selection and recruitment of key roles, and you will also be involved with the duties below:
- Maintain all HR procedures and policies to ensure legislation compliance
- Support the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are integrated into the culture effectively, informed and welcomed
- Work across the full end-to-end recruitment process
- Contribute to administration and HR practices and systems continuous improvement
- Provide timely and accurate reports, including HR Metrics and WGEA
- Support all Work Health and Safety matters and administer WHS Committee meetings
Skills Required
You will ideally have experience in higher education, not for profit or a membership-based organisation and possess the following skillset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Possessing a high level of professional integrity, emotional intelligence and confidentiality
- Sound knowledge of Australian best practice and employment legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Previous experience in HR, recruitment and handling complex administration tasks
