The Organisation
Our client is a purpose-led not-for-profit organisation providing specialist legal services to support social justice, environmental and climate movements across Australia. The organisation works collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and the broader community to deliver meaningful social change.

The Role
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation's systems, administration and operations run effectively. This is a broad and hands-on role suited to an experienced operations or corporate services professional who enjoys creating structure and can confidently manage competing priorities. You will also be responsible to:
- Manage contracts with external providers, including IT and software contractors
- Project manage grant applications, ensuring deadlines are met
- Coordinate HR, compliance and policy requirements
- Support financial management, including overseeing AP, AR and payroll
- Consolidate board papers and respond to director enquiries
- Provide administrative and social media support across the organisation
Skills Required
You will have high-level experience in corporate services or office management and in providing administrative support to an executive team, along with a strong passion for climate and social justice. You will also have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in project management and social media
- Desirable to have experience in a Community Legal Centre or an environmental or human rights NGO
- Ability to work with external contractors ensuring SLAs are met
- Highly developed organisational skills, including managing and organising documentation
- Understanding of HR processes and policies
- High level of proficiency with technology, ideally LEAP
