The Organisation
Ronald McDonald House Australia is a national charity supporting families with children who are ill or injured. Working across a federated network of 11 independently governed chapters, Ronald McDonald House delivers essential accommodation, support services and programs to families across Australia. Operating as part of the global Ronald McDonald House network, Ronald McDonald House Australia plays a central role in enabling system-wide impact supporting chapters through national fundraising, shared services, and strategic leadership.
Following a recent rebrand and the introduction of a global Excellence Framework, Ronald McDonald House Australia is entering a new phase of alignment and capability building, strengthening consistency, connectivity and performance across Australia. This role sits at the centre of that ambition, working across leadership and teams to ensure strategy is effectively translated into coordinated, system-wide execution.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role will play a central role in connecting strategy to execution across the Ronald McDonald House system, bringing structure, visibility and alignment to organisational priorities. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will coordinate planning cycles, track delivery against key priorities, embedding the framework, tools and processes.
This is a collaborative and influential role, often described as the glue across the organisation, ensuring alignment between leadership, teams and the broader Ronald McDonald House system within Australia. You will support operations, manage planning and reporting cycles, and enhance communication flows to ensure clarity, accountability and transparency across stakeholders
You will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives and change programs, helping embed new ways of working and strengthening organisational capability in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required
You’re currently working in a comparable role within a complex organisation such as a large not-for-profit, healthcare, government or a similarly structured environment. You are and comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and operational frameworks. A highly organised and influential operator, you bring strong communication skills and the ability to connect strategic intent with practical delivery.
You will bring to the role:
- Experience coordinating strategy, planning or operational delivery
- Stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Written and verbal communication skills at an executive level
- Experience working in a complex or federated environment
- Influencing structure, processes and alignment across teams
- A delivery mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation
