About the Role
The Trusts and Foundations Advisor manages philanthropic relationships to secure funding for the Foundation’s programs and advocacy work. Working closely with the Head of Development and program teams, you will manage an established portfolio of philanthropic funders while identifying new funding opportunities. This role combines relationship management, grant writing and stewardship to ensure strong partnerships and long-term support for the Foundation’s mission.
In this role you will also:
- Prepare high-quality grant applications and funding proposals
- Develop budgets and proposals with internal program teams
- Coordinate grant reporting and acquittals to funders
- Maintain accurate records and relationship management in CRM
- Contribute to the overall success of the development team
Skills and Experience Required
You come from a background in fundraising, partnerships, grants or account management and have a drive to contribute to meaningful social impact. You are a relationship-focused professional who is confident managing stakeholders and developing compelling written proposals and have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines within a collaborative environment.
You will also have:
- Strong communication and proposal development skills
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Confidence discussing funding opportunities and making asks
