As a lawyer working within an integrated practice team, you will collaborate closely with Family Violence Advocates, Maternal and Child Health Nurses, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations and other support services to offer holistic support. You’ll deliver trauma-informed legal assistance in family violence and related family law matters at outreach sites including Maternal Child Health services, Eastern Health locations, and Aboriginal Healing Services. The position also contributes to community legal education, secondary consultations, and strengthening relationships with service partners to support early intervention and culturally safe service delivery. Skills & experience You will be a qualified and compassionate lawyer with a strong commitment to social justice and an understanding of the complex nature of family violence. You’ll bring a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to your work and the ability to engage respectfully with women from diverse backgrounds.
